The job

As a Loan Officer, you will be in charge of closing the financing gap for SMEs in Denmark. Your daily work will include tasks like these:

• Grow the Danish loan portfolio by closing inbound business loan applications.
• Maintain a daily pipeline and follow up on leads on a daily basis.
• Sell to the existing customers: offer top-up loans and additional products.
• Maintain customers through outstanding service, always solving issues, and making customised offers.
• Guide customers through the whole process of application to fund disbursement.
• Negotiate payment terms and ensure to exceed customer expectations.
• Propose and negotiate improvements to company products and services such as restructuring and collection procedures.
• Collect the needed customer documentation.

Your qualifications

💬 You speak and write Danish at a native level, and you are fluent in English.

🎓 1-2 years work experience within a bank or fintech, preferably within SME lending. Knowledge of SME lending products is an advantage

💻 Excellent sales skills, ability to work with CRM systems

🥇 Results-driven, disciplined, and self-motivated with a real passion to grow and succeed

🗣️ Excellent communication skills with a good combination of commercial insight and financial 'know-how'

💪🏻 Experience in taking the lead during discussions, negotiations and when closing deal
