Pernille joined Job Squad in 2023 bringing with her a wealth of experience and a passion for helping others. As a content and website manager, she plays a crucial role in crafting captivating articles, optimizing our website's user experience, and ensuring that our online presence remains top-notch.

But why did Pernille make the decision to move abroad? Well, her journey began after exploring numerous Latin American countries, where she discovered a burning desire to experience life beyond her homeland. Upon returning to Denmark, she felt a yearning for change—a new culture, a different climate, and a fresh daily routine. Pernille wasted no time and during her research she stumbled upon Job Squad. Within a few weeks, she connected with one of our recruiters, and before she knew it, an exciting job offer in Athens was waiting for her. Naturally, she seized the opportunity, and the rest, as they say, is history.

One of the best things about moving to a new place, according to Pernille, is the warmth that surrounds you. Not only does she bask in the sun-drenched climate of Greece, but she also cherishes the genuine hospitality of the people she's met. From experiencing the local culture to exploring the stunning Greek islands, Pernille has fully embraced her new surroundings.

When Pernille isn't working, she loves indulging in various activities. She's fiercely competitive, which fuels her drive to excel both personally and professionally. You might find her hitting the gym, embarking on invigorating hikes, sipping on a cocktail with a jaw dropping view, or even showcasing her best dance moves. Pernille also finds solace in photography and travelling, allowing her to capture and cherish beautiful moments from around the world. What sets Pernille apart is also her passion for baking and cooking.

Some of her biggest "weaknesses" include  peanut butter, chocolate, Indian cuisine, guacamole, and the irresistible charm of summer.

When asked about advice for people moving abroad, Pernille stresses the importance of embracing the ups and downs, and just being brave and jump in the deep end to get out of your comfort zone! She reminds us that  there will be tough days no matter where in the world you are, but they can seem less tough when you can simply slide into the crystal clear waters and enjoy breathtaking sunsets.
