Kardelen is one of our recruiters from Turkey, currently based in Istanbul. She joined Job Squad in August 2025 but has been working as a recruiter since 2021. What she enjoys most is meeting people from different backgrounds, learning about their goals, and helping them take the next step in their careers. For her, there is nothing better than seeing someone succeed in a role and knowing she played a part in their journey.

Her own international experience began during university, when she spent six months in Italy on Erasmus. That time abroad showed her how much she loves international environments and how much they can teach you. Since then, she has sought out opportunities to work globally and has visited countries including Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Egypt. And she is already planning her next adventures.

For Kardelen, the best part of moving somewhere new is seeing the world from different perspectives. Meeting people from another culture, discovering similarities you didn’t expect, and learning about differences you never considered can change the way you see yourself and others.

When she is not working, you will often find her exploring her creative side. She enjoys painting, writing, and joining art workshops. She also has a passion for martial arts, hiking, camping, and spending time in nature.

Her advice for anyone moving abroad is to stay open and curious. Try the local food, meet people, and give yourself time to settle in. Spend time with both locals and internationals to get the best of both worlds.
