As a Danish-speaking Assistance Coordinator in the travel assistance sector, you will support Nordic travellers around the world who experience illness, accidents or unexpected situations while travelling.
You will be the first point of contact for customers who call the emergency assistance centre. Your role is to listen carefully, assess the situation and ensure the customer receives the support they need.
The assistance centre operates 24/7, so the role includes rotating shifts covering day, evening and occasionally night hours.
Your daily work will include tasks like these:
Handling incoming calls and emails from travellers worldwide
Listening to customers and assessing their situation
Explaining insurance coverage and next steps
Creating and managing cases in the internal system
Coordinating medical assistance with doctors or clinics
Arranging flights, accommodation or other travel logistics when needed
Collaborating with insurance partners and service providers
Ensuring customers receive professional and compassionate support during difficult situations
Full-time contract in Spain
Positions available in Torrevieja or Fuengirola
Start date in early April
Rotating shift schedule (day, evening and sometimes night)

💭 You speak Danish and English fluently, both written and spoken.
🌍 Additional language skills are an advantage.
🎓 Backgrounds that may fit this role include tourism, healthcare, insurance, law, international studies or similar.
📞 Experience in customer service, call centres, travel assistance, healthcare or insurance is beneficial.
💬 You communicate clearly and professionally by phone and in writing.
🧩 You are structured, solution-oriented and able to stay calm in busy situations.
🤝 You enjoy helping people and working both independently and as part of a team.
💻 You are comfortable using computer systems and learning new tools quickly.
