Mandy is one of our Dutch recruiters, who is also a sunshine seeker and therefore now living her best island life in Tenerife. Mandy grew up in Klaaswaal, a small village in the Netherlands. After feeling stuck there during the pandemic, she realised it was time for a change.

What started as a short-term adventure quickly turned into a whole new lifestyle. Her first move abroad took her to Málaga, where she worked as a tour guide. The plan was to stay for six months and then return home, but three years later, she’s still exploring the world. Mandy has lived in Lanzarote and Zakynthos, and even spent half a year backpacking through Asia. These experiences helped her grow in ways she never expected. She loves helping young people take the leap and move abroad, just like she once did herself. For her, this is more than just a job. It’s about helping others turn their dreams into reality.

When she's not working, you'll find Mandy soaking up the sun on Tenerife. Whether it’s hiking in the hills, relaxing at the beach, or enjoying good food and conversation at a local beach club, she makes the most of island life. Furthermore, there's nothing that calms her more than watching the sunset. And something you might not know about her? One day she hopes to dance salsa like a pro and she never says no to a plate of gambas al ajillo.

The most important piece of advice Mandy gives to anyone who is thinking about moving abroad, is to not overthink it. Live in the moment and just go for it. The future will take care of itself. And Mandy will guide you in finding the job abroad that fits you like a glove.
