You'll be working as a Legal Counsel for an international telecommunications company, based either in Lisbon (Portugal) or Vienna (Austria). The role focuses on international commercial contracts – you'll support the company throughout the entire contract lifecycle, from drafting and negotiation to dispute resolution. You’ll also provide advice on regulatory matters (telecoms, data protection, corporate governance) within a global context. Your daily work will include tasks like:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating telecom and service agreements
Advising on GDPR compliance, data processing agreements and privacy-related issues
Supporting corporate governance for non-US entities, including board documentation
Ensuring regulatory compliance across various international jurisdictions
Collaborating with product teams and coordinating with external legal counsel
💭 You speak German at a native level and English fluently (minimum B2 level)
🎓 Master’s degree in Law, ideally with at least 5 years of experience
📡 Experience in the telecoms or tech industry is a plus; knowledge of corporate governance and complex contracts is highly desirable
💻 Comfortable with digital tools and strong computer skills
💪 You are proactive, confident, and have excellent communication skills
