As a Danish-speaking Registered Nurse in the travel assistance sector, you will support Danish travellers around the world who experience illness or injury during their trips.
You will be responsible for assessing medical situations, coordinating care with healthcare providers and supporting travel insurance cases. In many situations, you will also advise customers and guide them through medical processes abroad.
The operation runs 24/7, and the role includes rotational shifts mainly during daytime and evening hours.
Your daily work will include tasks like these:
Handling calls and emails related to medical travel insurance cases
Performing medical screening and triage of incoming cases
Escalating complex medical situations when necessary
Communicating with patients, relatives, clinics and hospitals worldwide
Obtaining and reviewing medical documentation and reports
Assessing treatment needs and insurance coverage
Providing medical advice to customers when relevant
Supporting and training Assistance Coordinators on medical matters

💭 You are a Registered Nurse with an EU-recognised nursing certification and licence.
🎓 You have at least 3 years of clinical experience.
🌍 You speak Danish fluently and have good English skills. Spanish is a plus.
📊 Experience in the insurance or travel sector is an advantage.
🤝 Experience coaching or training colleagues is beneficial.
📞 You communicate clearly with both patients and healthcare professionals.
🧩 You remain calm, structured and solution-oriented in complex situations.
✅ A clean criminal record is required.
