Meet Raoul Milan Jongenengel! One of our newest additions to the Dutch team. Raoul was born and raised in Rotterdam. When he travelled abroad, he always thought: ‘I could live or move here’. Spain is the first country where he actually did something with that thought. Now, 1,5 years later, he still lives in Alicante.

With no earlier experience as a recruiter, Raoul is completely new to this world. But this doesn’t mean that he’s not skilled for it. In his time with Job Squad he found out about the way he can help people get a new life. After doing it for himself, it’s time to help others take this big and adventurous step.

The best thing about moving abroad for Raoul is that he meets a lot of people who already have one thing in common: Not living in the area where they grew up in. This is a certain kind of person, which he finds fun and adventurous. When he’s not working, you can find Raoul relaxing with his friends in Alicante. Getting a drink and enjoying the sun, and guessing colours of things they see. Which is a hard game for him, because Raoul is colourblind!

Are you thinking of making the move abroad? Raoul gives you some advice: Take your time! You are starting from nothing, so be calm about what you are doing or with who you are doing it with. Your old life did not get to where it was in just one day. So why should your new life be made in a day?
